Chapter 9 Reflection and Reflecting

Reflection entails pausing and taking note of what you are doing and is essentially having an awareness of our own thought process.
Reflection in writing can focus on different types of knowledge: (1) the content of an issue; (2) the strategies one might use to write an essay; (3) the procedures for developing an argument; and (4) the conditions under which certain kinds of strategies might work in one context or another.
