Chapter 5 Narrating

Narrating is telling a story about what happened. You generally explain events in the order in which they occurred, and you include information about when they happened and who was involved in the incidents.

This chapter provides exercises for students to create a narrative essay including exploring topics, writing the thesis statement, generating supporting ideas, developing an essay outline, and writing up the draft and revising and editing the essay.
